I am hiring a full-time Youtube script writer/video editor (one person) to assist me with the launch of my 3rd Youtube channel. A channel based on travel tips, business and personal development.
Here are additional details about the role.
YouTube Video Script Editor will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing scripts for YouTube video content. This includes ensuring that scripts align with the overall tone and style of the channel, as well as ensuring that the script is engaging, well-written, and error-free. YouTube Video Editor will be responsible for creating and editing video content for the YouTube channel.
Responsibilities:
-Create, review and edit scripts for YouTube video content.
-Ensure scripts align with the overall tone and style of the channel.
-Ensure scripts are engaging, well-written, and error-free.
-Ammend script based on feedback and suggestions.
-Write scripts to align with video production and ensure scripts are effectively translated into video content
-Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in YouTube video scripting
-Develop and execute the creative vision for the channel
-Editing and post-production of video content, including colour correction, audio mixing, and special effects
-Ensuring all videos meet YouTube's technical and quality standards
-Keeping up with current trends and best practices in video editing and production
-Provide feedback to Luke and the team on ways to improve and enhance the videos
Qualifications:
-Experience editing scripts for YouTube or other video content
-Strong writing and editing skills
-Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in YouTube video scripting
-Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Strong understanding of the YouTube platform and audience
-Proven experience as a video editor
-Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
-Experience working with a variety of video formats and codecs
-Familiarity with motion graphics, special effects, and compositing
-Experience with color correction and audio mixing
-An understanding of YouTube video metrics and optimization
