Senior Web Developer

A US based marketing and advertising firm, based in Tampa, Florida, is in need of a Full-Time Senior Web Developer/Designer and PHP Programmer who is highly skilled in SEO and is familiar with the newest techniques, trends and web designs.

Responsibilities:
• Assignments will vary from maintenance on existing websites to creation of a new fully functioning websites
• Projects will also involve developing, running, maintaining and promoting multiple sites using wordpress and similar CMS.
• Full Time- Minimum 40 hours per week

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• At least 2 years professional experience as a web developer
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
• Proficient use of the English language, orally and in written format
• Must be able to follow directions and meet all deadlines
• Communicates openly and effectively, both verbally and electronically, asking questions and giving input where necessary.
• Strong time management and detail-oriented team work ethic.
• Must be dependable
• Telecommuting position - possession of your own computer and strong internet connection is mandatory
Desired Skills:
• Experience as senior or lead developer managing and mentoring a team.
• Candidate must know about PNG, GIF, AND JPEG optimization techniques and code optimization to JavaScript, CSS and XHTML.
• Strong knowledge and skills using HTML, FTP, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript and MySql
• Have an advanced understanding of SEO
• Demonstrated advanced experience using various graphic design tools i.e. Photoshop, Dream Weaver and Illustrator.
• Multi-server hosting environment experience, including networking, security, tuning, caching, and scaling.
• Previous projects involved integration with backend systems and APIs.
• Experience integrating frontend, responsive, and mobile technologies.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Fireworks.
• Prior experience in startup environment

Compensation
