Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for writing and submitting government, foundation, and corporate funding proposals and reports. Tailored recommendations to individual donors and institutional partners may be added as
Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of grant proposals, including, but not limited to research, writing and compilation of support materials, timely submission of applications, and preparation of interim and final reports
• Plan, organize, and lead Fundraising.
• Provide and maintain funder contact information, proposal electronic and paper files; track funding application dates, decision dates, and reporting timelines
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with government, foundation, and corporate supporters in coordination with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Development Director
• Collaborate with senior artistic staff and others to assess the viability of budgeted programs for funding
• Work with the Development department and other departments to ensure clear, consistent, and accurate messages, report outcomes, and measure annual results

• Commitment to Dale Kietzman University’s Vision, Mission, and fundraising growth
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
• Strong planning and time management skills; ability to work independently
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google docs
• Aptitude and experience with maintaining donor records in database systems (Raiser’s Edge, Tessitura, Salesforce, Donor Search)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, sensitivity to gift histories and Dale Kietzman University proprietary information
• Ability to remain flexible and prioritize changing demands
General
• Work as a collaborative Development Team and Dale Kietzman University staff member
• Other duties as assigned
