JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing company, currently looking for a highly skilled and dynamic bookkeeper accounts administrator to join our fast- paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience using Xero and also have previously operated in a standalone capacity. Experiences in UK accounting and hotel/service accommodation experience is highly beneficial. Immediate start

Duties and responsibilities include:
· Coding and keying of purchase invoices to Xero
· Checking purchase invoices
· Accruals
· Making supplier payments
· Creating sales invoices
· Dealing with credit notes and refunds
· Checking customer payments
· Credit control
· Data input for management reporting
· Bank reconciliations
· Dealing with reservation system data
· Preparing and filing VAT returns for UK
· Dealing with assets and depreciation
· Maintaining cash flow forecast
· Dealing with stock calculations
· Running payroll

Experience and Skills required:

• Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping, using Xero or similar accounting software
• Minimum Bachelor's degree holder, additional accounting qualifications highly beneficial
• Advanced excel skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
• A high degree of integrity and discretion
• Excellent attention to detail – a high level of accuracy
• Ability to prepare management accounts reports, understand and analyse management accounting data
• Knowledge of strategic financial planning and budget setting
• Hospitality industry experience (UK) would be a game changer
• Ability to manage own workload and work proactively within teams
• Excellent data presentation and general presentation skills

System/Equipment Requirements:
• Headset: Any USB type headset with a noise-cancelling feature
• Stable wired internet connection of at least 10 MBPS
