Inbound Found ( ---------- ) is looking for a specialized backend Wordpress developer for a website design and marketing agency, 100% remote. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English speaking and writing, six or more years experience in Wordpress development, working on teams, and care about dev best practices.

## J O B . R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
- Build and manage backend side of WordPress website projects for B2B clients with medium to large sites (100s to 1000s of pages)
- Develop and version custom plugins, both our block (Gutenberg) library plugin and existing or new plugins created to meet complex client requirements
- Write or improve existing plugin integrations (REST/GraphQL) for client sites with tools like Hubspot or Neo4j
- Write complex SQL queries, database administration
- Handle website migrations for WP2WP, Drupal2WP, or from scraped sites, ETL, clean data
- Manage hosting and server related setup, config, and troubleshooting (we use Plesk on Digital Ocean), work with DNS records, troubleshoot DNS config issues (such as mail server deliverability problems, caching, and CDNs)

## T H E . I D E A L . C A N D I D A T E
- has a portfolio of work and/or point to live projects or GitHub repos
- has experience writing custom code for websites that rely on complex plugins (for examples: WPML, Memberpress, Learndash, Woocommerce, BuddyPress, etc.,)
- willing to adapt to our development patterns, theming, and plugins used on existing client sites: ACF Blocks (ACF Pro for Gutenberg Blocks), ACF Extended, WP All Import/Export, KadenceWP, WPML, Gravity Forms, LearnDash, MemberPress, Woocommerce, WP Mail SMTP, WP Migrate Pro.
- is willing and able to work a time overlap from 9am to 1pm ET (the other 4 hours are flexible), we do our best not to ask tea ---------- mbers to work specific late hours, but it happens and you may need to be on a client call as late as 4:30pm ET once a month or less
- is willing to train junior resources for up to 4 hours per week and be available for questions during specified "office hour" time windows daily
- has worked on large website projects (100s of pages) and has a sense of what’s involved to cost and meet complex requirements
- has a sense of design and can make design layout decisions in a pinch

## A . P L U S . B U T . N O T . R E Q U I R E D :
- development experience outside of Wordpress ecosystem
- familiarity with basic principles of UX, SEO, and CRO
- Experience with any of the following languages/tools is great: Hubspot CMS/APIs, Liquid, Python, Neo4j, GraphQL, Node, React, AWS, Google Dev Console
