JOB OVERVIEW

We are a software company that helps businesses with social media scheduling looking for people to join our team as sales development representatives.

Your job will be to research target companies, compile their information and then send them an email sequence (plus additionally following up via other channels if needed, such as LinkedIn, Instagram or phone).

Experience and knowledge of Instagram or social media marketing is a plus (as that's what our software helps customers do), but we can always teach you. Your target companies will be social media marketers and so this kind of familiarity will be very helpful!

Your role will include:

- Developing leads through outbound prospecting via email and/or Linkedin to generate new opportunities, and responding to inbound leads.
- Mining existing data (Including past customers and newsletter signups) for opportunities.
- Managing the sales pipelines and ensuring integrity of data (we use Active Campaign).
- Collaborating with the team to share best practices.
- Ensure all accurate account reporting and forecasting.
- Developing your knowledge of our product and keeping abreast of the latest industry developments and innovations.

Skills that would be useful to you:

- Demonstrated success in a B2B lead generation or sales role (Experience in SaaS sales would be highly beneficial).
- Understanding of common sales methodology in SaaS companies like "Predictable Revenue" or Hubspot's inbound sales processes.
- Experience with Excel and CRMs (plus any SDR tools like Apollo or Upgrade to see actual info).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Knowledge or experience of social media marketing and/or Instagram is a plus.
- Experience working remotely is also highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have experience with sales outreach within a B2B environment (bonus points if it is in SaaS and/or marketing!), but we are willing to invest in training and education for the right candidates.
