Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time expert Architect to lead high-end commercial and medical interior design projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate is a seasoned architect with 8+ years of experience in commercial construction and a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in premium projects.
As an Architect, you will oversee building projects from concept through completion, coordinating with the design team to deliver innovative, functional designs. You’ll collaborate closely with our design, purchasing, and visualization teams to ensure that every project aligns with ADA and US building code requirements while meeting our clients’ unique needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
Strong portfolio and at least 8 years of experience in high-end commercial construction.
Strong Experience in technological applications
(AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, 3D Rendering, Excel, Slides, Docs, Slack, Clickup, Zoom)
Strong knowledge of commercial-grade specifications
Strong knowledge of ADA & US Building Code.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and highly analytical with excellent planning and time management skills.
Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.
Experience in medical interior design or medical construction is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The Architect Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
Design Process
Produce detailed interior architectural drawings in line with the project needs for construction and permitting.
Produce work within the project budget and timeline.
Ensures all works are carried out based on US medical guidelines, building codes, and ADA compliance.
On top of all assigned projects from start to finish, to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design.
Accountable for the accuracy and detail of all interior architectural drawings and listed specifications.
Coordinate with all project tea
Coordinate with Purchasing partners and departments for project requirements.
Coordinate with 3D visualizers for project requirements.
Communicate and liaise with project partners to ensure the success of the project.
Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Contractors, etc.
Manage and monitor project management templates and applications.
Produce exterior concept designs (if necessary)
Team
Participate in weekly meetings and scheduled calls (Dream Tea
Attend to all project management requirements
Attend to meeting & project documentation ( Meeting Notes)
Attend and participate in company meetings and events.
Assist in Internal Projects (as assigned by the management team)
Fill out timesheets on a daily basis
Growth
Constantly updates themselves with architectural and industry trends and advancements
Research, Training, Trade Shows, etc.
Is constantly updated with emerging and changing market trends and technologies in the US construction industry.
Assist in developing internal programs and standards (as assigned by the management team)
Undergo training for skill development (subject to management approval)
