Web Developer / Software Engineer

We are looking to hire a Web Developer who is savvy with Squarespace to create and maintain professional and functional websites. Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Building Landing Pages and create Blogs
- Developing and implementing Squarespace themes and plugins
- Troubleshooting website-related issues
- Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Professional Competencies, Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Squarespace, preferred.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience developing responsive websites
- Experience building user interfaces for web applications
- Comfortable debugging issues and troubleshooting website related issues
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
- Strong communication skills
