Junior Accountant

Job Description:
1. Prepare BIR Forms 2307 and 2306 for suppliers, banks and importations.
2. With 1-3 years solid experience in Local and National Taxes such as but not limited to (BIR, LGU, SEC, other government agencies)
3. With thorough knowledge on Tax filing, computation, and LGU/BIR tax compliance such as but not limited to the (Income Tax, Withholding Tax on Compensation/Expanded, VAT, other Taxes) Maintaining of books of accounts (loose-leaf)
4. End of Month and financial year close and reconciliations (balance sheet).
5. Preparation of annual financial statements and income tax return.
6. Diligent and timely compliance to tax and government-related requirements.
7. Keep updated on BIR tax policies and advice management on recommended actions on tax and audit matters.
8. Coordinate with internal/external parties, particularly BIR and other government agencies to process transactions.
9. Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations.
