SEO Content Writer

Hello and happy new year! We're looking for a skilled SEO writer to join our team. We're a content writing agency that works with different types of companies worldwide, from local businesses to blogs to start-ups. We're passionate about content creation, and even more passionate about kindness and respect. We love what we do, and want to work with people who love writing and SEO, too!

Job Duties:

* Do basic keyword research to identify high-volume, low-competition keywords.
* Conduct basic research of similar high-performing blog posts and articles in the same keyword/niche, so we can better improve our own articles.
* Write SEO-focused articles (each between 1,000 and 1,500 words). These articles should contain 2-3 outbound ---------- te that we DO allow for/encourage the use of AI tools to help create outlines and rough drafts, but any AI-generated content should be edited and expanded upon to make sure it's original and useful. All articles will be expected to pass Originality.ai and Copyscape.

Qualifications:

* Experience as a blog post/article writer; we'll be asking to see a few of your own articles during the interview process.
* Solid research skills.
* Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
* Attention to detail — in fact, to prove that you've paid attention to the details of this job post, please include the word "turtle" in your application.
