Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist at Cohobnb Properties. This role requires bi-directional marketing campaigns, both to guests (to increase rentals and revenue) and to property owners (to increase inventory).
Responsibilities:
Manage and continually improve all aspects of Cohobnb Properties’ Marketing programs, including SEO, Social Media, Newsletter, PPC, Rate/Revenue Management, Listing Sites, and other relevant mediums
To work closely with all digital marketing mediums that drive conversion: Google,
Research the customer experience (owner and guest) with Cohobnb Properties and drive improvements
Assist with building property listings on our Property Management Software, write listing descriptions, and maximize Online Travel Agency (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) exposure.
Plan and organize marketing campaigns and d
Responsible for the look and content of the website(s) and social media outlets, maintaining brand awareness and maximizing visitor conversion
Implement brand reputation campaigns, including review sites, press releases, and community engagement
Acquire reliable and comprehensive data on sales and customer experience from different departments
Use CRM systems (such as mail chimp, Hubspot, etc.) to provide drip
Drive investment in digital marketing and roll out technological upgrades
Follow performance within the marketing budget and ensure that every dollar spent on advertising is maximized
Keep abreast of market/industry research and understand how trends are changing
Contribute to product development and management for both guest and owner product offerings
Use analytics to drive marketing and sales development
Use customer analytics to drive owner and guest loyalty, customer behaviors, and market trends
Set KPIs and track progress
Drive business development and growth in existing and new markets
Key skills
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, PPC,
The ability to learn trends in the vacation rental industry or already know major consumer trends.
Strong research and benchmarking skills: Using data and analytics to optimize marketing strategy
Writing skills: Ability to write compelling, crisp copy for a variety of marketing channels.
Graphic Design skills: the ability to make graphics for marketing materials for advertising campaigns and social media.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Digital Marketing guru
Experience in the Short Term Vacation Rental Industry is a
Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
Proficient in business software (e.g., CRM)
A healthy balance of both creative and analytical capabilities
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications, or a relevant field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience
