REMOTE ACCOUNTANT

Company Description:

Kano Consultants, based in the USA, engages in consulting for the electric power industry. This includes power generation, transmission, distribution, and all forms of distributed energy resources (DER) and renewables. We provide data analytics, design/construction support, engineering assessments, and custom software development.

Job Description Summary:

This is a part-time position that can become a full-time position depending on company needs and individual performance. We are looking for a Licensed accountant with tax preparation experience. The primary roles will be to help audit and prepare company financials. The tasks will include but are not limited to:

Quarterly tax filings
Develop a business tax strategy
Review and prepare balance sheets, cash flow statements
Review QuickBooks entries
Maintains policy and procedures manuals
Performs accounting functions including billing, collection, and expense records
Assists in proposal development and research gathering as requested.

Job Qualifications/Education Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant

Work Location:
This is a fully remote position.

Skills:

Strong PC skills
Strong knowledge of MS products: Excel and Word
Strong interpersonal, initiative, organization, and planning expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, and leadership ability.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing (English)


Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
