Video Editors - 100% Remote, Full-time

We're looking for video editors.

*This is a 100% remote position. You can do this from anywhere as long as you have good internet connection and are responsible and easy to communicate with.

*Flexible hours. You can work when it makes the most sense for you BUT we're looking for individuals with good work ethic, who will get work done within the given deadlines and will communicate in advance if problems occur.

*Don't apply if you're an agency or middle-person. We're looking for individuals to work closely with.

Requirements:

*Good Internet connection: we often work with video files that require you to both download and upload several GB of data. If your internet connection is too slow, it may be impossible to do this job well. *This may be less of an issue, if you’re mostly making designs as opposed to entire video edits.

*Computer capacity: make sure your computer can work with video files of several GB and be able to render these videos in a reasonable amount of time without crashing. Also, you should be able to work with 4K video files without too much of an issue (if that’s the case, it may be a problem).

*Electric power 24/7: in the past, we’ve had issues with individuals who couldn’t turn in their projects on time, since they had an unexpected power outage and weren’t able to complete or send over their work to us in a timely manner. Make sure this won’t be an issue for you.

*Time availability: we’ve had people try to take on projects they couldn’t complete because they already had a full-time job + family responsibilities. Don't apply if you already have another job.

*Communication: similarly, we find it necessary for you to be able to respond within a reasonable amount of time to any question, comment or revision a client or another teammate may have about a project you’re working on.

If you can’t work on the project at that ---------- nt, make sure you at least communicate this to your teammate or admin (if they ask you about it) and let them know when you’ll be able to complete the required revision.

If you can’t communicate well or in a timely manner, we won’t be able to continue to send you work.
