JOB OVERVIEW

Project Financial Controller
Fibre Partner Limited is a fibre installation contractor. We are start-up company in the UK, in our 2nd years of operation therefore we are currently very much project focused and deliver telecom projects to our customers. Our customers are telecom fibre Infrastructure providers, operators and telecom system integrators.
FPL management team consists of experienced telecom professionals with +40 years of accumulated experience in the telecom industry. FPL is aiming to increase the number of skilled engineers in the UK by hiring local engineers; getting them trained, accredited and qualified by professional training providers in the UK.
Our mission is to help fibre infrastructure builders to provide gigabit connectivity to more and more houses in the UK, so there are new and exciting opportunities to learn, develop and grow with us.
We are looking for:
Skilled project financial controller with excellent financial management, accounting, QuickBooks skills with can do attitude. You will be responsible for :
• Preparation of project budget, review project costs, revenue and cashflow forecast
• Accurate bookkeeping, maintain QuickBooks, transactions, attach receipts with each transaction
• Preparation of UK payroll for all existing staff and coordination with MD
• Preparation of UK VAT submissions summary for accountant review
• Liaising with company accountants and HMRC
• Review suppliers invoices
• Review staff expenses
• Submission of invoices to Customers
The Requirements:
- UK financial management experience is preferred
- ACCA, Degree in Finance and Accounts, QuickBooks experience
- At least 5 years of financial management experience in a project environment
- Sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability to manage and coordinate the project from financial perspective
- Excellent communication skills (written and via telephone)
- Positive mental and problem solving attitude
- Hard worker, result oriented, multi-tasker, and must have ability to handle high pressurized environment and should have ability to talk proactively with internal management.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel as most of the reporting and tracking of the project will be done in MS Office
- You will be working with experience management team and this role may lead to fibre project management position
- Should be willing to work extra including night work and weekends according to UK timings.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure paying good attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative, self-manage workload without supervision
