JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a staff member with experience in medical scheduling for EMRs - Athena Health.

We are looking for a staff member with experience in medical scheduling in ATHENA HEALTH.
Knowledge of ATHENA SCHEDULING workflow will be ***TESTED***
English fluency will also be tested.

KEY Job Requirements

Candidates must have the following experience:
- 2+ years experience working on Athena Health Scheduling, Athena Health Prior Authorizations, or Athena Health claim submission engine
- 2+ years experience with independent practice for Pain Management, PCP, Chiropractor, Neuro, or Pediatrics.
- Exceptional English.

IDEAL Candidate:

You will stand out from the pack with the following experience: It is possible your title was Front Desk Manager, or Medical Assistant (or another non-front desk title), but you were resident expert in Athena Clinicals setup. Your experience and competence made you the go-to person for all providers at your practice, to set up, organize, and maintain all clinical workflows in Athena including subject-matter expertise in the following Athena settings:
- Procedure Templates
- Order Types
- Procedure Template Mapping
- Order Sets
- Encounter Plans
- Text Macros
- Magic Words
- Practice Roles
- TAOs
- And other varied clinical system specific workflows

NOTE: Knowledge of the above Athena functionality will be screened.

As part of the Practice Experience team, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Practice Experience Agent's duties include greeting new and existing patients and redirecting phone calls. To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, duties and responsibilities are to ensure the virtual desk welcomes patients positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: competitive - FT only.

Schedule: Flexible schedule, but we can do 1 or 2 blocks: 7AM-11AM + 7PM-10PM, or 6AM - 2PM EST
