Security Guard

Qualifications:

*Secondary, Vocational

*Excellent knowledge of security protocols

*Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment

*Ability to communicate with different levels of employees

*Ability to solve problems as they arise

*Attention to details

*Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Patrolling and monitoring activities on the dormitory premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure.

*Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.

*Reports activities of residents pertaining to drug abuse, theft, alcohol intoxication, violence, peddling of contraband cigarettes

*Controlling the entrance and departure of employees according to protocols

*Check and inspect employee’s bags/baggage before entering and leaving the dormitory premises

*Monitoring the assigned premises to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities.

*Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incident that may have occurred to management

*Perform other related tasks
