Video/Podcast Editor

Editor for Podcasts and Videos. I have a need for an individual that can edit my podcasts and videos. I use Descript and Finalcut to edit videos and would like someone who is well-trained in both platforms. This position will start as part-time and will work towards full-time as a part of my core team. I need someone who is creative and can lift my videos to the next level as well as doing basic editing on my podcasts. I will be producing one video per week and two to three podcasts per week.

The first question for you is if you have used Descript? If not it is okay I can provide training. My podcasts must be edited in Descript. (This past weekend I edited and posted two podcasts in 30 min). Not using Descript is not an option!

Second, I would like to see your work. If you are interested in the job I will send you a file to edit. When you edit the file you can place the word sample over it so that your work is protected. I mainly want to see the following:
1. How do you handle rough edits?
2. Add in graphics, titles and sound effects
3. In the background provide background music
4. Turn around time
