Overview of Company and Job scope

FamilyTutor is a growing and family-oriented home tuition agency in ---------- a way, we are a human resource company in the home tutoring niche. Our duty is to match the most suitable home TUTORS for our CLIENTS – students or ---------- return, we get commissions, also known as AGENCY FEES. These agency fees are the sources of revenue for the company. The person who is in charge of the overall process of matching is called a TUITION AGENT. The tea ---------- mber who assists the Tuition Agents on a daily basis is called an ASSISTANT TUITION AGENT. When a client requests for a home tutor from us, we have one ASSIGNMENT or TUITION JOB to work on. The two main operation/communication platforms used by FamilyTutor are WHATSAPP and TELEGRAM, so this candidate should be very familiar with both platforms.

The job of an Assistant Tuition Agent is to:

- Conscientiously craft and send out the assignment details to all tutors, when needed
- Strategically interview the shortlisted tutors, when needed
- Strategically craft enticing tutor profiles (this will take up most of the job scope)
- Recommend the chosen tutors to the clients using the crafted tutor profiles, when needed
- Accurately generate invoices (this will take up most of the job scope)
- Post jobs on our own marketplace and 3rd-party marketplaces
- Do daily end-of-day report
- Keep track of finance matters
- Complete other major/minor admin tasks needed by the Tuition Agents or other Assistant Tuition Agents, and the CEO of the company, when needed

IMPORTANT: The job of an Assistant Tuition Agent is relatively easy once he/she undergoes 3+ weeks of training. Sometimes, it can become really repetitive. That being said, it requires one to have a high command of English and great clarity of mind for the job to be completed with speed, precision, and accuracy.

Training Phases

To make sure that the newly-inducted Assistant Tuition Agent fully understands and is able to execute the entire job scope with speed, precision, and accuracy, he/she will undergo a progressive on-job training. That is also to ensure that the he/she does not get too overwhelmed by the job scope at the start, especially when he/she is not familiar with the Singapore’s education system. As such, the on-job training will be split into these 10 phases (may not be in chronological order):

1. Study tutor profiles that are crafted in the past; pick up the patterns, trends, and commonalities in those tutor profiles, and learn the terms used in the Singapore’s education system.
2. Post jobs on our own marketplace and 3rd-party marketplace
3. Create daily end-of-day report
4. Craft tutor profiles (based on the Telegram chat with shortlisted tutors)
5. Craft tutor profiles (specific to clients’ requirements)
6. Interview tutors
7. Coordinate with clients and understand their preferred tutors
8. Interview clients and craft assignment details
9. Closing deals & invoice crafting
10. Understand the daily finance matters and complete tasks related to it

The above phases are the respective subset tasks of the overall operations. At the end of these 10-phase training, the Assistant Tuition Agent should be able to execute all tasks competently and independently (and with tea ---------- mbers). At any point in time, the fully-trained Assistant Tuition Agent should be able to juggle 5-10 profile crafting for different assignments on hand. close to 30 per day. During all on-job training phases, the newly inducted Assistant Tuition Agent should work closely with the existing experience Tuition Agents or Assistant Tuition Agents to learn the ropes properly.

This role also requires a little sales knowledge – able to write in words to entice clients to choose the recommended tutors.

Working Hours

Singapore and Philippines share the same time zone.

The working hours are 5.5 days/week: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues 8am-8pm + Wed 8am-2pm

The Off Day are then on Wed after 2pm + Thurs full day.

The working days and hours may be adjusted to fit the company’s needs. At the same time, the CEO will take into account the candidate’s preferred working days and hours.

When there is no task to be completed, the Assistant Tuition Agent is free to do his/her own things. However, he/she is expected to be present and working on the tasks within 10 minutes after being notified by the Tuition Agents or other more senior Assistant Tuition Agents.

Progression

Once an Assistant Tuition Agent is deem as competent, he/she will be promoted to a Tuition Agent and is required to train and lead 1-3 other Assistant Tuition Agents.

More information regarding the Tuition Agent role will be announced when the promotion takes place, provided that the Assistant Tuition Agent wants to be a Tuition Agent.

Salary

Level 1 Assistant Tuition Agent (3-month probation, the rest of Dec 2022, the whole of Jan 2022 & Feb 2022): 15,000 PHP per month, prorated if it’s not a full month
Level 2 Assistant Tuition Agent (4th month-12th month): 20,000 PHP per month
Level 3 Assistant Tuition Agent (13th month and beyond): to be determined based on performance
13th Month Salary is included starting from Year 2023
All salaries are remunerated via Wise ( ---------- /) at the end of each calendar month
