-Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
-Must be a license Chemist
-With knowledge in Laboratory and Good Manufacturing Practice With at least 1 year experience in laboratory and working in a Food Manufacturing or Food Production.
-Responsible for receiving of samples and service request for completeness and correctness
-Performs evaluation test and chemical analysis of samples required in the service requests which involves the following and related techniques:
-Measurements of properties such as pH, specific gravity, water activity and others
-Use of laboratory methods such as titration, gravimetric analysis and spectroscopy.
-Determination of the atomic or molecular quantity of one and more components of a substance.
And other analytical method which characterize matter at the atomic or molecular level.
-Ensure a timely completion of test, evaluation and analysis of samples.
-Prepares evaluation, test and analysis reports of samples.
-Ensure the control of chemical consumption.
-Ensure that wastes are properly segregated.
-Performed the daily equipment checking and monitoring requirement.
-Provide available information to customers in absence of immediate superiors.
-Ensure safekeeping of records and calculation of Physico-chemical properties or concentration of chemicals.
-Responsible in preparation and monitoring of laboratory chemicals, materials and reagents.
-Ensure that all regulated chemicals are properly controlled and monitored.
-Provide suggestions for improvements needed in the laboratory activities and area to conform to the health, safety and environmental requirements
-Identification of unsafe condition and unsafe act, and or both, to prevent accident that may result to loss in time or in life
-Perform other duties that may be assigned by superior.
