JOB OVERVIEW

WANTED: One home based employee who works for yourself and not via a company (please do not apply if you are a company 'pretending' to be a home based worker)

If you ARE working for yourself and you want to be part of an 'army of lions', then keep reading..

About the business:
----------------------------
We are an entrepreneurial company since 2005 with diverse interests from personal care/health related ecommerce products through to managing real estate developments. We are looking to hire an ecommerce project manager on a full time (or part time) basis to work upto 40 hours (or 20 hrs part time) each week Monday through Saturday.

What is expected from you;
-------------------------------------
Your mission, should you chose to accept will include: - Reworking our existing websites and creating new websites & other various ongoing tasks such as marketing those sites, order processing if necessary and managing ecommerce ---------- sential skills required include Wordpress/ecommerce setup, order processing, managing new and ongoing ecommerce projects from concept through to profitability.

You should be a self starter and able to work on your own. You should already have mastered the skills mentioned above.

Your main tasks will include building out a wordpress ecommerce website and then marketing/managing the site. Full details will be disclosed to successful applicants.

Although above all loyalty and honesty is the foundation of our small business success so these 'attributes' should be important to you too.
This is a flexible ‘part time’ or ‘full time’ position. The successful applicant will have a real opportunity to progress long term with our UK based business. The only thing that would prevent you from progressing and earning more with the company would be yourself. i.e. you will be paid in proportion to the value that you bring to the ---------- sential Skills:
- You must be able to write excellent English. - you must be able to show examples of high quality websites you have created.
- You must want to progress with our company and be a dedicated worker.
- You must consider yourself an excellent communicator.
- You must be able to discuss new projects when required and to communicate via message and email daily.
- You must provide daily updates at the end of each working day or shift by email.
- Its OK to ask questions or ask if you need help or need some training but you must be able to ‘work alone’ and without hand holding (within reason), once you have been provided the project brief.

Additional skills: not being a jerk! By this I mean don’t ‘pretend to work’ when you’re not working to scam money from the business. Or ‘forget to send daily updates’. If this happens you will be found out and immediately dismissed.

What can you expect from us:
-----------------------------------------

Simply put you can expect loyalty, commitment and a stable salary – we are fair!
Yep, that is our promise to ---------- return for your loyalty, commitment and hard work, we offer a stable monthly salary with the possibility of pay rises upon review of your personal ongoing development.
When you turn up and deliver, whilst continuing to being honest and loyal, then we will always look to maintain your employment. If your position ever became obsolete (which is highly unlikely), then we would look to offer you another position in the business if possible or as soon as one arises.

Put it this way - we know that loyal and honest, hard workers are worth keeping around so my commitment is that if this really IS you, then there would ALWAYS be a position for you in the company.

**IMPORTANT NOTE!**

I'm going to be straight up with you the same as I would expect you to be with me..

Its extremely important that you are trustworthy and honest about your work related activities, otherwise the relationship just wouldn't go any further..

- This means showing up on time, when you are supposed to show up.
- It means taking care of the tasks you are responsible for.
- When your manager/supervisor needs to discuss an important urgent matter related to the business, it means that you are able to be available (within reason) and communicate.
- When an email or message response is expected it means you should respond or provide and update quickly to respect your managers time as they will be respecting your time the same.
- You should be an efficient worker. What I mean by this is that you should learn new skills quickly and implement fast. The popular statement that ‘time is money’, is true. We know how long certain tasks take and you should aim to complete your tasks within a ‘reasonable’ amount of time.

Finally, its important that you want to be successful to make the business work. I cannot emphasize just how you should be loyal and honest at all times - no BS! No 'time wasters'. Believe me when I say that your manager can spot ‘fakers’ a million miles away. If you’re a person who plans on 'pretending to work' or 'working multiple jobs' on the same hours or 'taking unplanned and unsolicited days off' then forget it. The relationship just won’t work.

Oh and one more thing, despite how it might sound in this job post, I actually consider myself to be a generous and charitable person (and some may even say spiritual), although I don't want to hire ‘complainers’ or 'sympathy seekers' and I don’t want to hold 'pity parties'. This is because I've been around the block and I’ve probably been in similar situations at some point in my own lifetime. What those life lessons taught me is that when you find yourself in those (lets call them ‘less desirable life situations’), I’ve learned that the best thing you can do to help yourself is to help others.
By this I mean that you can best help yourself if you first help the business to be successful with your loyalty, commitment and hard ---------- return, the business will be able to reward you.
This might sound a little ‘harsh’ but you should believe me when I tell you its not a one way street..
In return for your loyalty, honesty and hard word ethic you will work for a company that will repay YOU as much as YOU can deliver.

The company is small but has proven to be successful over the ‘long term’.
Failure is not an option for our business. You can trust that we will be here during the ups and the downs. Here in the growth years and during harder times..
What I mean is..
IF we were to be knocked down then we dust ourselves off, we stand up straight, stand proud and we continue the good fight.
We’re as determined as lions and we’ll never stop pursuing our objectives!
I know this all might sound a bit ‘tough’ and ‘hu-rah’ for a job posting, but in my experience this is the reality of what is required to be successful in business these ---------- s also probably what every other job poster would love to write but was too afraid to do so.
As I mentioned, I respect honesty and trustworthiness above all else and so here it is upfront, in black and white - the truth.

Oh and one final thing..
Please don’t turn up expecting miracles. You’re not going to be paid a fortune the first month or even second month that you start work.
You WILL however be paid a ‘fair’ starter salary at the going rate. You can also expect me to keep my word when I promise you that if YOU deliver what I have outlined in this job post then YOUR salary increases would rise as high as the amount of value that you can deliver and the limit would only ever be held back by you alone.

OK, now the truth is out and the cards are on the table..

Please submit your application and be ready to arrange a chat/interview via ---------- would help to send examples of your best work and don't be shy, we don't bite (our own) :-)
