SEO Writer/Editor with AI Assistant (Jasper) Experience

We are a digital marketing agency with projects (both for clients and internal) to keep you busy. We're looking to hire an awesome Content Writer & Editor with experience using an AI writing software (Jasper/Jarvis) to join our fully remote company.

This talented individual will be in charge of content creation and will play a key role in helping develop our overall content marketing strategy. To be successful in this position, the editor will need to maximize the use of Jarvis/Jasper, SurferSEO, Frase and other tools to perform topic research and craft engaging, industry-specific content tailored to reach specific audiences.

You'll need to research the topic and determine what the outline should be, and edit what Jasper produces in order to make sure the final article is error-free and sounds human-written.

**Who we are looking for:**

1. Must be familiar with creating content optimized for SEO and conversions
2. Understands search intent and how to select appropriate subheadings
3. Resourceful and proficient in researching to craft a thoughtful and engaging piece / section
4. Have a broad range of general knowledge to understand the basics of the assigned industry or concept
5. Can harness Jasper (understands how it thinks and its patterns, identify the fluff generated by Jasper)
5. Good with tech and have experience using Surfer SEO, Ahrefs, Grammarly, etc.
6. Native English speaker with perfect grammar, detail-oriented copyediting, fact-checking, and cohesive formatting.
7. Reliable and capable of completing all deliverables on time
8. Ambitious and constantly look for opportunities to grow professionally and personally because you could be managing a team of writers in the future

**Expectations:**

- The average article length is 2,500 words. Articles can go longer, if needed, based on SurferSEO recommendation.
- This job will require approximately 8,000 to 12,000 words per ---------- ing the tools, this wont be that difficult.
- You will select imagery (via Canvas/Shutterstock) to go with your written content.
- By the end of each day, I ask for a 1-2 sentence update on what was completed and what is in progress.
