STEAMid is looking for a dynamic, hardworking and innovative data manager who is eager to increase access to academic resources in America. The data manager will be working closely with our team to conduct research, critically scrutinize and capture data, and deliver milestones under strict deadlines. Such individuals should be organized, quick on their feet, and passionate about serving their community.
Responsibilities
As a Data Manager, your responsibilities will be
Conducting web research for various academic resources
Managing data entry by entering new programs (i.e. internships, scholarships, fellowships) in the database
Managing database maintenance by changing program deadlines and removing duplicate programs in the database
Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
Work Hours and Benefits
The Data Manager will work virtually 30 hours per week. Please see schedule below.
4 Days a Week Schedule
Monday 9AM - 9PM EST
Tuesday 9AM - 9PM EST
Thursday 9AM - 9PM EST
Friday 9AM - 9PM EST
Be advised that hours listed above are a wide range with lots of flexibility. We can come to an arrangement on the time of the day you would like to fulfill the assigned tasks.
The Data Manager is expected to attend a weekly 30 min meeting with their direct supervisor. These meetings will take place on Saturday or Sunday.

Experience Requirements
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in data entry and data management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word and excel) or Google Workplace (docs and sheets) is a plus
- Familiar with Airtable

- Ability to communicate effectively with professional staff
- Ability to work independently and simultaneously work toward many of the organization initiatives at once
