Summary Statement
Under the Operations department, the Talent Screening Specialist will be responsible for screening job applications and interviewing job candidates. The Talent Screening Specialist must show good judgment in selection of applicants, strong interviewing skills, and must be highly organized to manage a high volume of applications and interviews. This individual is driven by the mission, vision, goals, and values of HeyTutor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinate with fulfillment team to understand hiring needs and communicate lead needs
Screen and interview applicants, draft and send offer letters
Meet performance quota of 20+ people hired and 250+ calls per week
Ensure accuracy of data input into ATS system
Strictly follow screening processes and procedures
Job Qualifications
Some college experience preferred, but not required
1 to 2 years of recruiting/interviewing experience
Prior experience in education and/or in tutor related role preferred
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Reliable internet access and working computer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in use of common corporate office software

Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
Team player, collaborative
Proactive, able to anticipate lead shortage
Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, speak and hear; may occasionally be asked to lift up to 15 pounds
Normal physical mobility that includes movement from place to place
Ability to sit for long periods of time

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 12:00pm-8:30pm
