You will work with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop version to maintain the books and financial records for our businesses..
You must be able to:
- Record financial transactions and balance the books daily; cross referencing to POS Management Systems
- Reconcile bank statements and confirming accuracy by cross-referencing with the books
- Summarize the businesses’ financial position with Monthly Reports (Income statement , Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Change in Equity)
- Create and send invoices, and following up to get them paid.
- Make sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
- Prepare Year End Tax Forms (W2/W3 & 1099/1096)
- Process payroll (Data Entry Payroll Data (Paychecks, bonuses)
- Assist with annual income statement and balance sheet reports
- Create budgets and forecasts, and advising on how to improve the business.
- Verify and confirm amounts of income/deposits going into the business bank accounts
- Maintain annual budgets for businesses
- Report on issues and variances when they pop up
- Audit-proof business with detailed documentation required by the IRS
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience with QuickBooks Desktop software
- Able to type 40 wpm
- High attention to detail
- Quick and Efficient, able to perform under stress and timelines
- Produce a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Understand accounting best practices
