Social Media & Marketing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:40 hours per week, available Monday-Friday US Eastern Standard ---------- itial schedule during training would be 7am-3pm then can move into a more flexible schedule if needed

We are looking for a staff social media specialist and marketing assistant who will focus on building and maintaining social media posts and engagement, assist with creating graphics and other marketing content.
• Must have experience with social media best practices for business accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin)
• Must have excellent English grammar and writing skills
• Must have professional experience – marketing content (social media posts with graphics, newsletters, & marketing materials)
• Must have professional experience using the creative tool Canva to build social media and digital graphics

Preferred but not required:
• Experience with SEO best practices
• WordPress basic knowledge for blog content posting
• Video experience using programs like iMovie, CapCut or Canva
• Digital advertising experience a plus
