We are.

We are Wave Nine, the not-so-typical consultancy from Silicon Valley that practices startup spirit and speed. Together with our strategic partner WorkBoard, Inc., we bring purpose to employees and results to companies. Based on a framework called Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), we help companies gain competitive advantage through high alignment on purpose, strong focus, and transparency. We combine consulting services with a category-defining software platform backed by leading investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Microsoft, and Softbank.



To complement our growing team, we are looking for an HR and Recruitment Specialist who will not just sit on the sidelines. You will create long-term value for Wave Nine by driving our content operations. We practice new work and plan to continue working remotely, with occasional on-site client engagements.



The Job – What you will do

Main Resposibilities include:
• Discussing and establishing qualification requirements and terms and conditions of employment with managers.
• Formulating and posting the job requirements on job boards and other employment portals.
• Passively and proactively sourcing qualified candidates.
• Applicant screening, shortlisting, qualifying candidates, and conducting and coordinating interviews.
• Discuss employment terms with candidates.
• Preparing pre-employment, onboarding, and other related documents
• Keep and maintain employee records

Other related HR duties, includes Onboarding, SOP review, update, and implementation.
• Providing reports, and recommendations to Managers.
• Work with the Operations Team to streamline and further develop HR and Recruitment Processes.


Requirements – What we look for
• Must have a degree in BS Psychology, BSBA-HRDM, or any related courses.
• Must have good written and verbal English communication skills
• Hiring experience outside the Philippines, esp. within the US and/or Europe
• Experience using different platforms to hire global talents
• At least 1 year of experience in HR, and related functions
• Good understanding of the full recruitment and HR processes
