Copywriter/Content Writer

Dump Truck Dispatcher LLC is a fast-growing company that provides software to streamline the aggregate hauling industry. We are looking for a content writer to be responsible for writing content for our blog at Upgrade to see actual info.

Responsibilities:

* Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
* Write clear marketing copy for blogs, articles, service descriptions, e-books, and the company website
* Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
* Proofread and edit blog posts for errors and inconsistencies before publication
* Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
* Edit and polish existing content to improve readability
* Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
* Follow and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
* Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
* Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
* Update website content as needed

Requirements:

* Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
* Portfolio of published articles
* Experience doing research using multiple sources
* Excellent writing and editing skills in English
* Hands-on experience with WordPress
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Effective communication skills

Additional notes:
* We are looking for someone to work with in the long run, so please do not apply if you see this as a short-term project.
This could be a part-time or a full-time job.
Experience in the trucking industry or writing GPS or logistics-related articles is a plus.
