Chief of Staff / Sr. Executive Assistant
Stojo, maker of sustainable reusable food and drink containers, is on a mission to end disposable culture. We are seeking a talented Chief of Staff to support our CEO.


We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual who is passionate about working alongside our CEO who needs help executing on their weekly, monthly and quarterly deliverables, keeping on top of key priorities, special projects, as well as the CEO’s email inbox.

What we need in a Candidate:
Must be detail-oriented and willing to learn and create processes in collaboration with the CEO and other tea ---------- mbers.
Must be able to take instructions, then run with multiple projects in parallel, ability to prioritize and keep the CEO focused.
Must have understanding of consumer packaged goods (CPG) and direct to consumer (DTC) brands.
Must have a strong understanding of finance analytics, financial reporting, e-commerce KPIs, retail KPIs, e-commerce and retail analytics.
Must possess strong and timely written and communication skills.
Must be a creative and fast learner.
Must have experience with Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, Netsuite, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Slack, Asana.

What you will do Daily:

Email
& Calendar: Help the CEO keep on top of their email inbox and daily calendar, ensure no critical deliverables or correspondence are missed.
Prioritization: Set daily priorities with CEO and ensure that CEO and tea ---------- mbers are executing on time and as ---------- eting Agendas & Materials: Ensure agendas and relevant meeting materials are prepared and linked into calendar invites in advance of all meetings
Meeting Notes & Responsibility Assignment: During meetings, keeping notes in Google Docs, action items & open items are assigned and tracked in Asana and follow up with tea ---------- mbers to ensure completion of deliverables.
Profitability Analysis: Complete daily profitability calculation and elevate to key shareholders.

What you will do Weekly / Monthly:
Prioritization & Goals: Work with CEO to set weekly and monthly priorities for CEO and other tea ---------- mbers, then ensure completion of work; help problem solve or adjust deliverables where issues arise.
Reports & Analysis: Work with e-commerce, wholesale, customer service, marketing and finance tea ---------- mbers and agency partners to provide weekly and monthly reports and analysis relating to e-commerce and marketing performance, wholesale performance, customer service, inventory, and ---------- working: Set up calls for the CEO to meet with 3-5 industry executives, creatives, and potential investors per ---------- vestors: Work with CEO and tea ---------- mbers to prepare monthly and quarterly investor updates.
Press, Speaking Engagements & Conferences: Set up 2-4 interviews or engagements per week.

What you will do Quarterly:
Work with the CEO and other tea ---------- mbers to prepare quarterly board and investor reports.
Work with the CEO and other tea ---------- mbers to analyze quarterly financial performance against prior periods and benchmark actual against projections.
Work with the CEO and other tea ---------- mbers to prepare forward looking financial projections.
Work with the CEO and other tea ---------- mbers to review inventory needs, prepare projected needs and communicate with manufacturers.

What you will do Ad Hoc:
Special Projects: Work closely with CEO, his advisors, and other tea ---------- mbers on various special projects which will include a focus on margin improvement, revenue generation, profitability analysis, new product development and any associated research important to the CEO and team’s decision making ---------- anization: Work with the CEO to organize and streamline company drives, documentation, reports, templates, analytics, etc.

Who you are:
You have 1-2 years in e-commerce, analytics and chief of staff / high level executive assistant role.
You have a strong ability to work independently and manage up.
You have extremely strong attention to detail.
You have excellent writing and communication skills.
You love spreadsheets and organizing information.
Strong judgment skills: ability to effectively prioritize, and use proper urgency when needed.
You’re a collaborative team player.
You’re tech savvy & have experience using a variety of platforms to manage workflows.
You’re excited about the DTC space and are passionate about building a mission-driven sustainable lifestyle brand. Ideally you have some level of experience in the DTC world.
You’re able to think on your feet while problem-solving quickly and efficiently.
