Content Marketing & SEO Specialist

Hello,

We are looking for a Content Marketing & SEO specialist available to work full time. Your job is to assist a Content Marketing/SEO project director with the operational execution of various routine tasks related to Content Marketing and organic 'White Hat' SEO. The confirmation of the hiring is subject to a one-month test phase.
Description of monthly recurring tasks - non-exhaustive list:

CONTENT MARKETING TASKS:
• Write company descriptions in English for submission to directories
• Participate in the production of the editorial calendar for content creation
• Communicating with writers and ensure the delivery of content according to established deadlines
• Review content submitted by writers and suggest improvements to make
• Add content to client website and optimize for search engines
• Any other SEO tasks that may be assigned to you by the project director
• Document the advancement of your work and submit an internal report

ONPAGE SEO TASKS:
• Manage content writers for the write-up of 5000+ word articles
• Write internal mini guides documenting specific SEO tasks
• Optimize title tags, description tags, URL
• Optimize webpages for targeted keywords
• Create optimized permalinks internal to the client website
• Any other SEO tasks that may be assigned to you by the project director

OFFPAGE SEO TASKS:
• Research of relevant websites with the purpose of backlink creation
• Take part in outreach efforts to website owners for external link building
• Manage the posting of content and the creation of back links
• Produce a monthly SEO report for the client with the help of our tools
• Any other SEO tasks that may be assigned to you by the project director

COURSEWARE DEVELOPMENT TASKS (OPTIONAL)
• Participate in the drafting of internal SEO best practices
• Participate in the development of interactive SEO training modules

CLIENT COMMUNICATION (OPTIONAL)
• Client communication is offered after you master the GMI skill set and have the necessary language capacities

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS OF GENERAL ORDER:
• Record hours worked with the help of an automated online tool
• Document the advancement of your work and submit a weekly internal report

TOOLS USED AT GMI:
You should have good to excellent working knowledge with the following tools:
SEO:
• Yoast WordPress SEO

OPTIONAL TOOL (used inhouse for SEO-training, provided):
• SEO Power Suite (Rank Tracker, Link Assistant, Website Auditor, Spy Glass)
• AHREF

TOOLS that we use on a daily basis:
• Basecamp: Project management platform online
• Google Drive (document sharing, sending large files)
• Screenshotmonitor: recording time attributed to tasks and projects
• Skype chat and Skype Video (you will be asked to demonstrate a stable Internet connection that supports video throughout the hiring interview, and once a week thereafter for online meetings)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

SKILLS:
• You should be able to demonstrate excellent English skills, both written and verbal
• Good interpersonal skills (communication with project director, team members, client)
• able to work autonomously with minimal supervision

HOURS WORKED and AVAILABILITY :
• Full-time 40h/week
• You can work at normal business hours in your time zone
• You must be able to make yourself available for at least 2h via Skype during your typical work hours
