Pastry Chef

BAKER/CHEF
Responsibilities:
Must know to cook pizza,pasta,sandwiches etc.
• Lead, mentor, and manage culinary team
• Develop and plan menus and daily specials
• Create prep lists for the kitchen crew
• Manage food costing and inventory
• Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance
• Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.
• Participate in the interview process and selection of kitchen staff.
• Schedule staff and assist in human resources processes as needed
• Scheduling, teaching, training, coaching, and developing the culinary team
• Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
• Execution of events and food service while maintaining the highest level of food quality and presentation
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a commissary Formal culinary training / culinary degree
• Previous kitchen management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques Strong leadership abilities
• Ongoing awareness of culinary trends
• Understanding of health and sanitation laws Excellent knife-handling skills
• Applied wine and beverage knowledge
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Must be FEMALE.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From Php18,000.00 per month
