Project Manager with word press knowledge required

Be a founding member of our in-house development team and help us evolve our publishing products on WordPress and beyond

Position Summary:

Leads the day-to-day activities of IT project to deliver tasks on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsible for the success of the project

Fundamental Components:

* Responsible for leading, planning and managing a project team

* Ensures that project team members complete tasks and deliverables on time and within budget, and that the project delivers promised business functionality.

* Leads a matrixed team in executing assigned tasks and coordinating the efforts of internal project team members.

* Ensures that team members complete tasks and deliverables on time and within budget, and that the project delivers promised business functionality.

* Manages all key project governance documents, such as the Project Charter, Work Plan, Communications Plan, and Risk Mitigation Strategy.

* Manages to the project budget, and reports project cost information in an accurate and timely manner.

* Manages the effective utilization of resources assigned to the project team, and communicates resource capacity and shortages to the HR


•Own and can manage all WordPress development, including customization, front-end UI and UX development, plug-ins
•Should know Coding, development, and creation of WordPress site and CMS, contributor tools, and data management

Job Skills Required:

• Expert in Wordpress development (Theming, Plugins, Post Types, Meta, Shortcodes)

• Proven ability to work independently, lead a software project, and mentor junior software engineers

•Be a great communicator, embrace a collaborative work-style, possess strong leadership skills, and have an ability to write technical documentation

•5+ years of relevant experience

At Least 3 Years of experience and knowledge of:

- WordPress
- PHP
- LAMP
- JQuery
- MVC
