Data Analyst

The data analyst creates dashboard-style reports showing data that is tracked within the company. They check their datasets & reports for accuracy and then present them to management.

The Data Analyst will also work closely with other departments to ensure data is properly aligned and meets company standards. They will answer questions from management about where different pieces of data come from or trends they may observe while preparing the reports.

We are a video production & live-streaming company, so the data will be things like “how many days of editing did interview-style videos require this month, on average?”

We anticipate most of the initial work can be done within Google Sheets, where we currently store most of our data. Down the road, we will consider migrating to a database. This job could be a place to grow for an analyst who would like to explore databases and BI tools over the next couple ---------- will be necessary to establish relationships with managers in the following departments.

Additionally, other parts of our business are currently done in Excel and could either be moved to a better tool, or made more user-friendly for our staff. We hope you can lend your expertise to refining these processes as well.

Our team is based in the US and the Philippines. Our managers are all available by video call. Everyone speaks ---------- lls to the US will be in the evening or early morning.

Besides meetings, the work schedule is flexible. This is a remote work ---------- lected Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements in each department of the business
• Work with other departments to ensure data alignment and company standards are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of data analysis
• Assist in the development and implementation of new data management systems
• Identify trends and insights in the data to help inform decision making
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders (ie, managers of each department)



Skill Requirements:
5+ years of experience in data analysis or related field
Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, or a related field
Excel / Google Sheets
Google Data Studio or similar dashboard tool
Understanding of statistics
Understanding of business process analysis
Spoken English for a business environment
Soft Skills - you will need to meet regularly with our managers and keep those lines of communication open and friendly



Interest in music, film, photography, or video communications is a plus.


Salary
We will pay 55,000 ---------- a full year, you can accumulate up to 5 sick days and 10 days of paid time off. If you start mid-way through a year, these days will accrue prorated.

Additionally, we will provide a benefits stipend of 2,000 php/month for you to purchase healthcare and other benefits.
