JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for overall operations in which Ocean Freight is the main product.
To be responsible for the operational results and administration of all container services, traffic and network connections.
Responsible for staff planning, building up a team, giving proper training and task assignment to team members.
To be Trade Monitor performance of each service contract.
To check profit and loss (PNL) development of Ocean & Air freight Products.
Responsible for the quantity and good performance in billing and job costing in Ocean & Air freight Operations.
Responsible for the monthly performance data preparation and review.
To be the key contact for carrier negotiation in local contracts.
To provide support to products operative regarding market situation and rate level.
To participate in meetings with the marketing / sales team for major trade lanes in cooperation with other company subsidiaries at area/regional/global.
Work together with the sales team for customer relationship management and new service implementation.
Work closely with partners overseas to define necessary products to achieve the targets budgeted.
Allocation achievement performance with the carriers’.
Focus on the vendor management and assure that all of vendor can be kept at good performance as per company required
Vendor Contract and performance review .
To Work in accordance with the compliance rules and policies.
Other additional tasks assigned by the Management Board.

REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor Degree : Maritime / transportation/ Foreign Trade University is a plus
Minimum 10 years relevant International Trade (Import- Exports Air or Ocean) and freight forwarding experience.
Minimum 3 years managerial experience.
Knowledge of procedures for international and domestic freight, trucking and warehouse services.
Dangerous Goods awareness
Excellent leadership
Excellent communication skills
Good PC skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
Experience in handling US accounts is a plus
Self-starter, proactive, high adaptability
Willing to work in Biñan Laguna
