Team Slingshot, a Slingshot Design Studio Inc. company is looking for a self-starting, highly organised, and experienced recruitment specialist to screen and interview candidates (digital marketing VAs), monitor hiring KPIs, and present regular updates to the core team.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning

? Identify correct skills and ideal candidate qualifications based on client requirements
? Post job advertisements on different platforms (e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn)
Screening, Recruiting & Interviewing
? Calibrate recruiting efforts to focus on top candidates
? Conduct screening interviews and in-depth interviews with candidates
? Communicate expectations about the hiring process to job candidates
? Serve as liaison between candidates and company
? Schedule and administer assessments
Hiring & Onboarding
? Discuss compensation package with successful candidates
? Collect onboarding requirements
? Answer questions and be a resource for new hires
General
? Keep informed about hiring best practices in our industry
? Stay informed on talent hiring technology and international market standards
? Ad hoc tasks

REQUIREMENTS
? Good interpersonal and decision-making skills
? Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
? Effective negotiation and influencing skills
? Small or medium business experience preferred
? We want someone who can handle sensitive and/or confidential information with honesty and
integrity
? Analytical, intuitive and knows how to follow brief instructions and make judgments based on learnings and training
? Can work independently
? Experience with CRM software and MS Office
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
? Tertiary degree in organizational psychology, human resource management, or similar.
? Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, recruiting software and candidate databases.
