Our Client is a rapidly growing geospatial software company based in Perth, Western Australia with staff from around the world. They have a very big ambition: they are building the worlds biggest digital atlas using data from satellites, drones and every day maps and images.

Job Specification

As a Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist, you will design, prepare and post interesting contents (copywriting and graphics) through the guidance of the head of design, monitor and manage different social media platforms (most especially Twitter), respond and interact through Twitter communication.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

> Help conceptualize, create and implement graphic designs and copywrite contents; Publish digital marketing content online; Implement email marketing campaigns

> Research advertising trends

> Research competitors’ pricing and products

> Decide on appropriate placement of ads in different online advertising platform (e.g. google ads)

> Determine what content will reach customers

> Apply knowledge to develop strong social media strategies and media plans managing all facets from audience insights, ad formats and budget recommendation

> Conduct media planning research using various tools and methods to be used to drive client recommendations

> Articulately present complex social strategies and recommendations to clients, partners and internal teams

> Produce high end presentations around the latest social media trends, best practice, marketing ads, promos, and reports

> Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

> Maintain an active awareness on new trends and growth within interactive media

> Supports both internal and client support

> Performs basic computer troubleshooting and assistance

He/ she must have the following Key Competencies:

> Exceptional attention to detail

> Excellent and strong written and verbal communication & email management skills
> Excellent understanding of social media products including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok

> Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive “team player”

> Excellent time management skills

> Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism

> Positive and happy attitude

> Must have a keen attention to detail and capable of meeting tight deadlines

Solid understanding of the digital landscape, and display advertising
He/ she must have the following Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree Related to Marketing, Business or English
Flexibility working on mid and/ or night shift
· Has a minimum of 4 months’ experience working for an Australian client

· Experience in managing social media platforms, creating content and concept to launching marketing and social campaigns (Facebook ads, Twitter promoted ads, Pinterest ads etc.)

· Excellent MS Excel skills is a must

· Skills for communicating those concepts

Excellent use of Word, Excel and Outlook

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

> A graduate of Bachelor’s degree on Graphic Design/Multimedia course or any related course.

> Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.

> Intermediate video editing and animation knowledge.

> Positive attitude towards work, good inter-personal skills.

> Effective English verbal and written communications skills.

> Effective time and task management skills.

> Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.

> Have a creative and innovative mind to go help company achieve its massive goal

Nice to have:

Knowledge/ experience with Geographical Maps

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
