Cloud Engineer

About the Role:
? Experience with PostgreSQL (Aurora PostgreSQL preferred)
? Well versed in developing views/stored procedures on PostgreSQL
? Expertise with PL/pgSQL
? Extensive experience with PostgreSQL deployment and version control
? Solid experience designing, implementing and maintaining production scripts
? Experience with NoSQL databases, with a preference to those databases that are AWS native
? Experience with ETL/ELT
? Experience with Snowflake
? Experience with PowerBI and Report Development
? Ability to develop relational and dimensional data models for OLTP databases
? Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, conducive to team development
? Well versed in business analysis to prepare logical and physical models
? Good data analysis and data quality assessment skills
? Expertise with database design and development
? Ability to develop and write system documentation

Position Requirements:
? 7 Years of experience with Database Development
? Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL
? Knowledge of best engineering practices in agile software development: architectural paradigms,
code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, and testing
Preferred Skills:

? Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora with deployment and version control
? Experience with Azure and/or AWS
? Experience with Snowflake and Power Bi ETL/ELT
