About the Company:
We are an educational research organization based in the UK, with tea ---------- mbers based in the US, Europe, and Asia. We provide professor-led online research programs to high school students around the world.

Job Duties:
For this position, you will be part of our 1-on-1 Mentorship program, which gives students the opportunity to be mentored by a fitting professor on a one-on-one basis. You will be coordinating to match each student with a suitable professor.
-Review students' applications and log information accordingly
-Review available professors' information, and suggest potential matches
-Draft emails (using existing templates) to professors, students, and our team
-Attend introductory meetings between professors and students
-Monitor and respond to emails
-Attend tea ---------- etings
-Update multiple trackers daily

This position will require a 1-2 week onboarding process with extensive training, which will be paid.

Ideal Candidate Background:
For this position, we are looking for someone with a warm personality and strong communication skills, who can effectively and efficiently coordinate between our team, students, and professors. Our prospective students are interested in a wide range of topics from philosophy to computer science to neuroscience, and our Academic Coordinator will be expected to be able to advise students on their academic interests and find the fitting professor to match. This position also involves communicating with both sides through effective and well-crafted emails. As such, we will give preference to candidates who possess a wide range of academic knowledge, and who will be able to engage effectively in writing.

Job Requirement:
-Excellent writing skills
-Good research skills in any given academic area
-Fluent in English and able to moderate meetings efficiently
-Responsive to emails and remote working with a global team
-Undergraduate or graduate degree in law and humanities is preferred

Compensation and Working Hours:
The overall time commitment will be between 5 to 20 hours per week—depending on your availability, and on admissions traffic. End-of-Season bonus, which is equivalent to the highest bi-weekly period amount, is also available three times a year.

The position is remote, and the working hours can be highly flexible (as long as the emails are responded within 24 hours).

Qualified candidates who are able to start as soon as possible will be given preference.
