Bookkeeper for online business and real estate ventures

Description
We are looking for bookkeeper to join us on a part time freelance basis to keep the books current on a monthly basis as well as to liaise with our CPA at tax time. We anticipate this role to be up to 20 hours per week and $300 USD/ month to start.

This role will play an integral part of the team in closing the books (multiple Quickbooks Online accounts at the end of each month), providing monthly reports to the CEO, onboarding new tea ---------- mbers into our payroll system, and liaising with our CPA as needed especially during tax time. Keeping detailed spreadsheets and Dropbox files is integral to this role.

If you’re passionate about bookkeeping, spreadsheets, creating detailed reports, creating SOPs (standard operating procedures), creating and managing spreadsheets to track and improve metrics, assisting multiple people with a hands-on, team-player attitude and are highly organized and punctual with deadlines, we'd love to see you apply.

Monday - Friday 4 hours per day at the time of your choosing (as long as you're able to reply to our questions and to dos within 1 business day and have the books closed out at the end of each month.

This is a part time role that reports to the CEO and the CPA.

The ideal person for this role is an expert with Quickbooks Online, fluent in the US tax code, google docs and sheets (excel) and can juggle multiple projects and deadlines prioritizing as needed. They are a detail oriented person who loves working independently, double checking work and getting the job done on time. They also love to learn and can take direction and guidance.

Experience with short term or long term rental income and expenses a plus.

QUALITIES:

Absolutely meticulous and extremely detail-oriented with the ability to spot the smallest mistakes with ease.
Proficient with Quickbooks Online, Google Suite and excel formulas.
Well-organized, efficient, happy to take on repetitive tasks and can envision how to streamline processes, manage projects, and loves to optimize systems, structures, and procedures.
A proactive problem solver - someone who comes to the table with solutions and not just problems.
Must be tech savvy and own a reliable computer, and have reliable internet access.
Must have a quiet, undisturbed environment in which to focus and join the occasional zoo ---------- eting (working US business hours regularly is not required but the occasional meeting might be requested)
Must be available to genuinely commit to the position for at least a year or longer.
