JOB OVERVIEW

There are 4 things you need to be able to do competently as the Agency Marketing Strategist:
1. Generate Leads with Marketing - The #1 thing that you must be able to do is make the phone ring and make form fills happen for our company and for our customers.

2. Create Marketing Strategy - Plan, build, and implement the digital marketing strategy for multiple clients.

3. Coordinate with the Marketing Team - Work with writers and marketing staff as they coordinate with the design and development teams to complete all components of a project, from concept to design, creation, and implementation.

4. Communicate Progress - Meet with clients regularly to demonstrate progress.

We are a 16 person web design, development, and digital marketing agency located in the USA with 6 employees in the Philippines. Our agency is seeking an experienced and highly effective Marketing Strategist to join our team. The right candidate will have a tolerance of humor, a strong work ethic, and a proven background of improving ROI on web properties.
We are seeking applicants with deep knowledge of SEO and lead generation who understand how to use marketing automation platforms (such as HubSpot) to make sure marketing efforts have a high success rate.


--Necessary Skills
* Degree in business, marketing, information technology, or communications
* 3+ years of experience
* In-depth knowledge of multiple digital marketing platforms
* Core competencies with current SEO strategy and implementation
* Working knowledge of PPC platforms:
----* Google Ads
----* LinkedIn Ads
----* Facebook Ads
* Expert level skills with:
----* Google Tag Manager
----* Google Analytics
----* Google Data Studio
----* Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Moz, or other SEO tools
----* HubSpot, Sharpspring, or other marketing automation platforms
* Proven track record with:
----* Lead generation
----* Building effective marketing plans
----* SEO analysis

--Detailed Description of Job Responsibilities
Below is a detailed breakdown of job expectations for the role of Agency Marketing Strategist. Please come prepared to discuss how you plan to address these needs if you were to accept the position.

--Lead Generation with Marketing
* You must be able to generate leads predictably and consistently
* Work closely with clients and sales staff to develop strategies for delivering predictable leads for regular sales cycles
* Identify target audience and lead sources
* Consistently drive new leads through marketing efforts
* Ability to create a nurturing program to convert a curious audience into a prospect
* Ability to predict and quantify to clients how additional budget amounts will result in (how many) additional lead results
Create Marketing Strategy
* Plan, build, and implement the digital marketing strategy for multiple clients
* Create B2B and B2C marketing strategies
* Create long term SEO strategy and create tasks for both the writing team and the development team to implement
* Provide advice on local listings citations and off-page link building
* Ensure that each page and post that the Agency writes is part of an overall strategy
* Coordinate with design team to create strategy for graphic design, infographics, and landing page design
* Oversee email marketing efforts to make sure that they are both effective and compliant with local laws and regulations for each customer type
* Ensure that PPC campaigns are effective and well optimized. (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more.)
* Create growth strategy for social media
* Develop plan for marketing automation, drip campaigns, and automated responses

--Client Communication
* Maintain relationships and communicate progress to the client
* Identify roadblocks and scope creep, manage last-minute or unplanned client requests and make schedule modifications, and capture and review metrics to make sure things are going according to plan
* Develop and implement solutions for clients
* If something jeopardizes a deadline, communicate this to the client in advance
* Attend meetings with clients and bring the appropriate tea ---------- mber(s) to the table when necessary
* Participate in the client onboarding and kickoff process
* Ability to coordinate with multiple tea ---------- mbers, projects, ongoing service relationships, freelancers, 3rd party relationships, and clients
