Professional Dedicated Full-time Editor Wanted

We are hiring qualified, committed, full-time editors for our online U.S.-based publication. We’re a start-up, fast-growing online publication with followers all around the world.

Job qualifications:

* Professional English grammar

* Experienced in SEO writing and AP style

* Major in Journalism preferred.

* At least 1 year experience in professional editing for US-based online news website.

* Be able to manage a group of at least 5 writers.

Job responsibilities:

* Check for: text/facts/plagiarism/copyright issues to public articles (text, photos, etc.).

* Time sensitivity: punctual. Update web page on-time.

* Topic sensitivity: familiar with popular articles & social media in American websites.

Research and monitor niche trends and provide topics to writers.

* Provide feedback on writers’ article quality and performance.

* Provide quality/speed-boosting guidelines.

* Have great work ethic: fully committed to work hours discussed and open to feedback.

* PV expected: 1k to 10k (total per day per writer).

* Basic Wage: $300 trial period (1 month); $400 per month afterwards; bonuses relate to website PV (to be discussed some time after 1st month, after observing PV).
