General Accountant

We are seeking a FULL-TIME superstar General Accountant Virtual Assistant starting December 5th to provide support to our growing team! We are a North American based company who believes in providing exceptional customer service. This role is 9am-5pm PST (1AM-9AM Philippines Time Zone).

If you are a dedicated General Accountant Virtual Assistant who is a great team player, is willing to learn, holds 2+ years of experience in Accounting (bonus if you are a CPA or have US/UK/Canadian experience) and is comfortable working in a graveyard position (1AM-9AM Philippines Time Zone) then we want to hear from you!

About the Opportunity:

As a General Accountant Virtual Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

-Full-cycle bookkeeping in web-based accounting software (Quickbooks)
-Tax preparation, compilations and filings
-Month end reporting
-Year end reporting
-Filing tax documents
-Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
-Time Zone: 1AM – 9AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE // 9AM-5PM PST TIME ZONE
-Salary Payment Dates: Monthly salary
-Start Date: December 5th

Job Requirements/Skills Needed:

-A professional level of written/spoken English, you must be fluent and comfortable speaking with clients
-You hold an Accounting degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role
-Having your CPA is an asset
-You are familiar with Accounting software (Quickbooks- bonus if you are certified)
-Working graveyard is an absolute must, you must be comfortable working in a North American time zone (1AM – 9AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE // 9AM-5PM PST TIME ZONE)
-MUST have a clear and strong internet connection with a BACK-UP GENERATOR if you are working from your home office (minimum 50 Mbps)
-Must provide your own laptop/work equipment

Bonus Points:
-You have worked for a North American (USA or Canada) Accounting firm as a Virtual Accountant in the past
