Video Editor

We are looking for a Video Editor who specializes in the Podcast and Webinar industry. You are responsible for the editing, polishing, and publishing of the podcast. You will also condense episode content, create a cohesive narrative throughout an episode, improve audio quality and occasionally create supplementary materials for the podcast.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct the actual editing of raw recordings of the podcast by editing audio, adding clips, splicing clips, and process enhancements.
- Create a seamless stream of audio by mixing audio from other files or directly from the archival footage with the main podcast/webinar content.
- Resizing and repurposing podcasts or webinar to social media posts for promotion purposes.
- Conduct content editing by making editorial choices on the recordings to objectively choose the right parts to be included in the podcast or webinar
- Improve the overall structure/flow of the video and ensure that the Podcast/webinar was polished before publishing
- Must have a solid understanding of branding and brand identity and have an ability to adapt writing style based on the brand voice of the company
- Collaborate with the team on how to improve the quality of the sound of the podcast/webinar
- Ensure the quality of the audio does not compromise the content.
- Must be comfortable with fast turnarounds and deadlines

This position will start on a part time role but can go on a full-time role if you are the right person. We preferred someone who can work on Perth, Australia Time.
