WE ARE LOOKING FOR: IT Specialist (READ BELOW)

SHIFT Requirement: FULL TIME (8 AM-5 PM) US Pacific TimeZone
(Nightshift PH TIME)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Strata Consulting is currently seeking a ---------- Specialist. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in all aspects of IT. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Senior IT Role
• Take a leadership role within the IT Team maintaining company-wide IT infrastructure services such as IAM cloud software, MDM, SSO, Anti-Virus, etc.
• Ensure Strata applications are configured with the appropriate permissions
• Configure and manage Apple MacBook computers through our MDF (Jamf)
• Manage IT related training, meetings, and working sessions:
a) Security Awareness Training
b) New Hire onboarding - IT department
c) Weekly IT working sessions
• Oversee email updates, security alerts, and notifications from our vendors
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Occasionally run regular checks on network and data security
• Manage Implementation Processes
• Vendor review and onboarding
• Provide approvals to all company access request
• Conduct yearly and quarterly audits or access reviews
• Analyze user allocation for IT budget
• Provide cross-functional team support for DevOps, Finance, HR, Security, and Compliance team
• Provide training and guidance to associate IT personnel

2. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
• Responsible for Antivirus software and Device Management System
• As a Philippine resource, you will manage and send company devices to future Philippine employees
• Research and order new equipment via Amazon (company account)
• Helpdesk Support (Emails, Slack)
• Respond promptly to Slack chats that require immediate attention
• Monitor helpdesk emails (Ex. Access Requests, License Requests, MFA Reset, etc.)
• Schedule working sessions via a Zoom if needed
• Jira board management and configuration
• Onboarding and Offboarding compliance
• Policies and procedure update
• Every day there are new unusual issues that could arise; expect daily direct messages from tea ---------- mbers asking for assistance (consider yourself internal chat support)

3. Inventory - responsible for Antivirus software and Device Management systems (macOS Laptops)
4. Helpdesk Support

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
» Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business or IT field
» 2-3+ years of experience in an equivalent IT managerial related role
» Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, Highly motivated individual and a proactive learner
» Must be flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues
» Expertise in using and managing the following applications:
• Google Workspace (a.k.a G-Suite) - Ex. Docs, Slides, Sheets, Form, Google Site
• AWS
• Okta
• Atlassian (Jira & Confluence)
• Zoom
• Jamf
• Slack
• Harvest (Time Tracking)
• CrowdStrike NextGen Anti-Virus or similar
• 1Password
• Microsoft Office 365

» Additional Technicals skills is a plus:
• CloudCheckr
• Python
• Github
• Bash scripting

» Understanding of internet concepts and features such as;
• Navigation to web addresses
• Internet security, secured connection - SSL
• Search engines, concepts, words, and the ability to search the internet for specific information.

» Any IT-related certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, SSCP, and RedHat are desirable but not required.
» Familiarity with Cloud Computing (AWS and Google Cloud) and Software as a Service
» Experience in configuring SSO, SWA SAML, MFA security access management
» Familiarization with Software Development Life Cycle
» Keen attention to detail and accuracy is necessary in order to analyze and solve any problems
» Openness to new ideas and willingness to innovate
» Ability to operate effectively in a remote environment, identify cost-saving measures and improvement strategies.
» Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
