Video Artist for Creatives

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
We are a Canadian company with presence in Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Our Company is running a big online marketing operation with focus on Facebook Video Ads, TikTok Video Ads & Youtube Video Ads.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a talented and kickass, Video Editor to assemble video ads into a finished project to match the creative vision of the company.
Good Video Editors are storytellers, listeners, and problem solvers all in one. They have a great eye for quality and attention to detail which is imperative when it comes time to edit videos.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
-A strong candidate will have a proven track record of video edits and graphics they have created which they will be able to demonstrate via their portfolio. They will also have a consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of a fast-growing company.

-Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.


-Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

-Creative mind and storytelling skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Editing videos ads.
- Edit audio plus voice-over to match the video.
- Follow the script and screenplay/outline.
- Creating striking graphics for video ad.
- Proposing new ideas or increased customer engagement.

REQUIREMENTS:

- willing to work in a fast-paced environment, absolutely being able to thrive under stress.
- structured and diligent work style, very detail-oriented personality.
- experienced working with project management tools like Asana.
- perfect conversational written and spoken English (casual and concise)
- positive attitude, high energy, fast learner
- willing to work outside of 9 to 5 hours, if required. Sometimes a few things have to be solved during short weekend calls or chats.
- Skype, Google Meet & Telegram for communication (voice or video calls), Slack for collaboration

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

-There will be a 2-week trial period to evaluate your performance and determine if you would be a good fit for the role.
-This role will have opportunities for full-time employment if proven to be of great value to the team as we are looking for full-time video artists.
