Social Media Specialist Responsibilities :
-Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification.
-Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand
-Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns.
-Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
-Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
-Monitor SEO and customer engagement and suggest content optimization.
-Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy.
-Collaborate with sales, web design, web development, digital marketing, customer relations and product development teams.
-Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
-Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/ metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns.
-Work with a copywriter to ensure content is informative and appealing with selling points.
-Bolster networks by interacting with industry professionals and influencers via social media.
-Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
-Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
-Communicating with Social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
-Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite, and Meta business suites.
-Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
-Performing other duties related to eCommerce when needed.
Social Media Specialist Requirements and skills :
-Bachelor’s degree (required)
-Over 1 year of experience as Social media specialist or similar role.
-Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
-Understanding of Reach, Engagement rate, Conversion rate, CRO, and other social media KPIs.
-Excellent writing, communication, editing (images, video) skills such as Canva, Photoshops, or any equivalent skills.
-Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
-Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels: Meta,
-Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability including team player.
