SEO Article Writer / Web Editor

We are a fast growing Canadian company, and we are looking for someone to research and create search-engine optimized articles, and then to turn those into other forms of content.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- The job is full time (40 hours per week) - for someone who LOVES to write. You will be doing a lot of writing, and I am looking for someone that I can develop a relationship with, who will be with me for a long period of time. I am not looking for someone who only needs a few months of work.
- I am looking primarily for someone who is great with English, and a good writer. All other skills we can provide training for.
- You will be writing the majority of the time about guitar, bass, and music related topics, so some knowledge of the guitar would be a definite asset.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Great understanding of the internet
- Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Has access to Skype and a reliable internet connection.
- Wordpress experience is a bonus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- You will be the editor responsible for creating search engine optimized articles on our network of websites, which are mostly guitar and music related.
- You will be expected to perform keyword research, and then create content optimized for those keywords. Training for the research and optimization will be provided, but you need to know how to write well.
- The articles will be 200-300 words in length, in general.
- You will be submitting articles to various directories, and posting them to various websites in our network.
- You will also be taking the articles and creating simple videos with that content. Training will be provided where necessary.
- You will be doing some link building for the content that you create, which may involve using an article spinner and doing submissions.

COMPENSATION: Salary is negotiable - please include your salary requirements in your application. Salary increases and bonuses will be available based on the quality of your work, and as we work well together and build the relationship.
