-It also provides a stimulating and supportive environment in terms of training, motivating and developing staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the stores and their premises are maintained to company standards/franchise standards, policies and procedures
- Monitors sales performance and sets and achieves sales/profit targets
- Maintains and continuously improves standards of customer service and other areas across the business unit
- Drives team performance by managing work performance evaluation, training and development of staff
- Monitors adherence to health, safety and security, including environmental health of the store team and customers, and other legal requirements needed
- Works with the management team in contributing to short and long-term organizational planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence
- Measures and reports sales & profit performance on a regular basis
- Keeps self and the business updated and aware of market and competitor activities
- Coordinates with Retail and Operations Managers for any sales activities, promotional campaigns/awareness programs
- Coordinates communication of information/updates between Head Office and Store Management Teams
- Performs other tasks as required by the Line Manager
