Requirement 1

Design and build commercial website from Requirements document. Must be able to interpret requirements and construct the front-end design for the system from the wireframe specifications in the Requirements using graphical development tools like Dreamweaver CS5. Application is a cloud-based system with the database residing in MySQL. Program code should be written in PHP to interact with the MySQL database and display content on the front end. In addition to having a good working knowledge of a graphical development tool like Dreamweaver, PHP and MySQL, the candidate should also be able to recommend other development tools to help streamline development and facilitate placement of editable objects from simple fields to grids in the application. The candidate should also have extensive experience with hosting platforms such as Hostgator and the CPanel interface into the platform to manage code releases. The candidate must also be able to produce clean code that can be easily adapted to other developers, in addition to producing associated design documentation.

Requirement 2

Modify a baseline Wordpress application to fit the various themes of small commercial businesses. The candidate should be able to modify the content of the baseline application to match the requirements of the specific businesses, currently for a real estate developer and eCommerce business. The eCommerce application should act as a front-end portal to an eBay store or other eCommerce content management such as Volusion. As with Requirement 1, the candidate should be familiar with hosting and managing Wordpress applications, as well as having a good knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
