Link Builder Job Description

We are looking to grow our link-building / offsite SEO team. Please read all of the below and send an application according to the below criteria. We are a small digital marketing company with customers in many different industries. All our work is personalized to each client, and we are constantly working to create new opportunities for our ---------- ndidates should be effective in English communication/reading/writing, while also having high levels of link-building and outreach experience. All candidates should be able to self-manage, produce results in an independent fashion, and generate link opportunities/outreach on their own.

1. Do you have experience in SEO? If yes, how many years? Please describe the SEO-related tasks you’ve performed. Please specify offsite, onsite, or both.

2. Do you have any experience with BuzzStream, Asana, Ahrefs, or SEMrush? If yes, please specify which programs and your familiarity/knowledge. If no, please mention any similar programs you’re experienced with.

3. Have you ever participated in cold email outreach campaigns? If yes, please answer: What kind of outreach? Did you use templates, or send personalized emails/pitches? How did you d ---------- where to focus/target your outreach?

4. Have you ever worked to build links for online websites? If yes, please describe the types of links you built and specify the level of autonomy you exercised during these tasks.

5. Do you bring any knowledge of/access to networks of link opportunities? Will you be able to hit the ground running with immediate opportunities/ideas for our clients?

6. How would you describe your network within the link-building/SEO community? Do you know others who may be interested in working with us? Do you have relationships with people who may be willing to cooperate with you as you go about building link opportunities?

7. Do you have any other skills, experience, knowledge, or characteristics that make you extra qualified to work with a highly effective, results-oriented digital marketing firm?

9. Describe the biggest challenge that you overcame or struggled with during your past experiences in SEO, link building, or similar work.

The job will start with an introductory collaborative process. You will be given link-prospecting tasks based on various criteria, which will require you to input information on Google sheets, then eventually in our main systems. The initial tasks will help us determine where to move forward together.

With time, we will fold you into our systems and give you more intensive tasks, eventually having you initiate and execute link opportunities.

Summary of expected duties:
-Looking in all corners of the web for link prospects
-Recording/data entry of link data into spreadsheets/programs
-Sending email outreach campaigns in a controlled, strategic manner
-Responding to prospects in a professional manner
-Organizing product reviews, guest posts, sponsored posts, directory listings, and more in a professional manner
-Negotiating with prospects
-Building a link network you can use to improve opportunities
-Improving your skillset with regular training/self-training
-Experimenting with/developing new methodologies and strategies
-Regularly communicating with team and supervisors, staying in the loop, and taking initiative to complete tasks
-Conforming to company systems and methods including software such as BuzzStream and Asana
-Communicating concerns, issues, and challenges promptly and openly

After about three months of a successful working relationship and a positive performance evaluation, you will receive a 10% pay raise. Then, your position will be evaluated on a bi-annual or annual basis. The job will start as part-time (20 hours per week) but can certainly grow in the future.
