JOB OVERVIEW

Hello Proofreader and Virtual Assistant!
I am seeking an extremely detailed individual that can be a dedicated and reliable proofreader and virtual assistant/project manager.

I am looking for a virtual assistant/project manager that can proofread and plagiarism check documents, make sure the monthly project goals are meet for website development and content creation, communicate with the team answering any questions or concerns they have, onboarding and training new workers (tools and training will be provided), post articles to the WordPress blog site and social media posting. If you can use InDesign to design images and content that will be a big plus.

Pay is: $275/Month

Be able to check in with me via Skype or Google Meet for updates daily. (I am in Hawaii so Time Zone is not that bad and I can meet at your time at 9:00am or 10:00am.)

Here are some of the skills I am looking for:
1) Fluent Native English speaker able to converse with me on Skype with updates on the progress and if you or the team has any questions.
2) Able to work with me long term (months) and be a part of my team.
3) Able to write and proofread in Native English picking up small errors such as sentence structure, plurals and tenses.
4) Be able to plagiarism check documents from the writers. (Need a reliable and good internet connection.
5) Be able to create and post to social media. (Pinterest, Instagram and FaceBook)
6) A plus if you are able to use InDesign to create compelling images for the posts and eBooks.
7) You are able to post the articles and format them on the WordPress site along with images and cross links to other articles.
8) You have extreme attention to detail.

I am seeking someone dedicated, long term and most importantly RELIABLE that is willing to learn and improve over time and is able to adapt to things that need to be done as needed.

Q: If I know how to design how many eBooks and newsletters I expect you to design per month?:

A: I ask that you design the following per month:
1) 9 Week Course.
2) Quick Start Guide: 3,000 Words
3) Marketing Guide: 3,800 Words
4) Main eBook: 6,800 Words
5) 20 email newsletter series (500 words per email X 20 emails created)

Q: Will training be provided?:

A: Once hired I will go over with you daily what occurs and train you usually its:

1) Check in with the 3 writers and proofread and plagiarism check any documents they submit to make sure it has value, is well written, is not plagiarized, provide feedback and answer any questions they may have. (Keep them motivated)
2) Check in with the 1 website developer to see how the project is going and answer any questions. (Keep him or her motivated)
3) If you have the skills use InDesign to design the eBooks and course
4) Post and format articles that you have proofread from the writers to the WordPress Website and create and add relevant images and create cover images, plus call to action, cross posting and disclaimer. (using sites like Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash to find relevant royalty free images to add)
5) As needed onboard and train new writers.
6) In general, just make sure the project runs smoothly, the articles get posted to WordPress and the course and eBooks are designed using InDesign. (Examples will be provided)
7) Social media setup and posting
8) Check in with me daily via Skype for the updates and any questions. I am here to help.
9) Take on new miscellaneous tasks as needed. Basic help with emails or making sure everything runs smoothly.

You don’t have to be a professional virtual assistant, but I need to know that you can use correct English spelling, grammar, and punctuation as you will be proofreading the documents.

Here are the key factors I use for hiring:
1) You are able to write and proofread in a fluid Native English conversational manner with correct spelling and grammar. (Including proper tenses and plurals)
2) You are EXTREMELY Detail oriented and focused and be dedicated.
3) You are able to meet deadlines on-time.
4) You have INTEGRITY in regards to writing and communication.
5) You are willing to consistently improve over time and learn from previous input and constructive feedback.

*You will need Google Meet/Skype call for feedback and for questions you may have to keep the project running smoothly. Be comfortable speaking with me on video.

If you have experience being a virtual assistant and proofreader, that’s a big plus, but I am really going to make my decision based how well you are able to write yourself so write me a short 5 sentence paragraph in your reply on what is the best food in the Philippines and why. Also when applying on the very top please insert the word "Pear" otherwise I will assume that you do not care about this project and have not read the description.
